SELF-TORQUING TAMPERPROOF STRUCTURAL NUTS

This product is intended to provide a simple and effective way to secure structural bolts. This nut consists of two parts:

An inner threaded part. This part consists of a threaded tube with conical shape.

An outer hexagonal part. This part provides the means of torquing down the inner part to the bolt or stud. The inner surface has a conical shape.

The two parts are integrated by laser welds, which are placed on top of the surface of the nut where the two parts meet. The welds secure the two parts together and provide the mechanism to produce the correct torque.

The shearing of the laser welds allows the outer hexagonal part to spin independently of the inner part. The conical shape of both parts prevents the removal of the outer hexagonal part.

Note: These structural nuts are available in sizes from 3/8" to 7/8".

SELF-TORQUING TAMPERPROOF ANCHOR NUTS

This product is intended to provide a simple and effective way to secure anchor bolts. This nut consists of four parts:

An outer hexagonal part. This part provides the means of torquing down the inner part to the bolt or stud. The inner surface has a recessed surface at the top.

An inner threaded part. This part consists of a threaded tube with a lip on top.

Two brass pins.

The two parts are integrated by two brass pins, which are inserted on the bottom surface of the assembly where the two parts meet and provide the mechanism to produce the correct torque.

The shearing of the brass pins allows the outer hexagonal part to spin independently of the torqued down inner part. The lip and the recessed parts of the assembly prevents the removal of the outer hexagonal part.

Note: These anchor nuts are available in sizes from 1" to 2".

VIBRATION-PROOF NUTS

The HardLock® nut is an all metal vibration-proof nut which outlasts all other locking systems by a large margin. This product gives extended life to bolts and studs and longer preventative maintenance intervals.

These vibration-proof nuts consist of two parts:

aA lower part having a convex top surface.

An upper part having a concave lower surface.

When installed on a bolt or stud, the nut assembly causes a powerful wedge effect. This results in a dampening of any vibration while allowing the HardLock® nut to remain secure.
